Sixty-one pets – 54 dogs and 7 cats – found their forever homes during Lovingood Loves Pets Adoptions at VVAPL Humane Society. Adoptions took place over 10 days at VVAPL and their Dogs on the Go Mobile Adoption Vehicle at the San Bernardino County Fair. First District County Supervisor Robert A. Lovingood sponsored pet adoptions reducing fees to only $25, which included vaccines, spay/neuter, and a microchip for dogs. As an added bonus, puppies were reduced to only $45.
“Pets are such a wonderful blessing. So I am happy to fund this program that brings some joy to local residents and their newly adopted friends,” Supervisor Lovingood said.
Executive Director Kathy Williamson was thrilled with Supervisor Lovingood’s sponsorship. “It’s wonderful to know a community leader not only values pets, but is promoting pet ownership in a tangible way,” Williamson said. VVAPL Humane Society is grateful to First District County Supervisor Lovingood for his support, helping 61 pets find homes.
